The Biden administration has walked back its ultimatum “demanding” that Israel allow humanitarian aid into northern Gaza or else risk being cut off from U.S. military aid. Once again, the Democratic Party has shown the world that it has no red line when it comes to backing and funding Israel’s genocide. The Israel Occupation Forces have continued their campaign of systematic ethnic cleansing throughout Palestine, and have continued to ramp up the violent siege on northern Gaza. The complete blockage of aid and deliberate targeting of humanitarian workers, journalists and civilians has left northern Gaza in a catastrophic state and on the brink of total starvation. The IOF has simultaneously been expanding its offensive front to any country that has dared to resist the vicious onslaught being unleashed upon Palestinians. The people of Lebanon have been facing Israel’s retaliatory strikes, tantamount to widespread collective punishment, on an unprecedented scale. Israeli aggression in these last few months has resulted in the displacement of an estimated 1,200,000 Lebanese and has left over 3,300 martyred. The death toll continues to climb rapidly as ancient villages and densely populated civilian suburbs are reduced to rubble, ensuring that thousands of people will be left with nowhere to return to at the end of this assault. Regardless of who is bankrolling this genocide—whether it be Biden, Trump or Governor Tim Walz who chairs the State Board of Investment—we will continue to take the streets to call for an END to Israel’s slaughter. Join us on November 23 to demand an arms embargo on Israel NOW, an end to U.S. aid to Israel and complete divestment of Minnesota dollars from apartheid Israel.
