Alia begibt sich mit ihrer Kunst auf die Suche nach ihren Wurzeln. Sie versucht das Unsichtbare sichtbar zu machen und lässt eine stille, tiefgehende Verbindung zwischen ihrem Inneren und der Erde ihres Landes entstehen. Ihre Werke sind ein Dialog zwischen Erinnerung und Gegenwart, zwischen Seele und Heimat. Shadia gräbt in Vergessenheit geratene palästinensische Volksmärchen, die zum UNESCO Weltkulturerbe gehören aus und gibt diese im Rahmen ihrer Märchenreihe als illustrierten Band heraus. Es erwartet euch ein Abend mit interessanten Geschichten und Reiseberichten, ausdrucksvollen Kunstwerken und eine musikalisch begleitete Lesung von Märchen mit Illustrationen - sowie Gespräche bei palästinensischem Tee mit Salbei.
