As the U.S. funded Israeli genocide in Gaza rages on and expands into Lebanon, the struggle for a free Palestine continues. The University of Arizona plays its own role in propping up the genocidal occupation with its many ties to war profiteers like Raytheon and Elbit that supply the weapons that rain on men, women and children today, as well as its investments in corporations that facilitate land theft, ethnic cleansing, and apartheid. Join us on November 7th at 12PM as we call on the university to cut all ties with the murderous Israeli entity and end its complicity in genocide!

ASB Whakatane https://maps.app.goo.gl/rWjmiyHHxot6xX866?g_st=com.google.maps.preview.copy 5 November @whakatanemopalestine E te iwi! Nau mai haramai ki "ASB: Divest from Genocide" Whakatāne Rally ā tērā Tūrei. This is a call to action to rally outside @asbbank in Whakatāne. We are protesting ASB's $14 million investment of peoples Kiwisaver funds in Motorola Solutions Inc. This company has been listed by the UN as complicit in enabling illegal Israeli settlements in occupied Palestine. They provide the comms surveillance & military technology that sets up apartheid, ongoing colonisation and genocide. Bring your banners, your noise makers, your hearts that fly towards change! We are protesting with love for Palestine, handing out flyers to customers and passersby about the divestment campaign and making our presence and the petition heard. Dets about the campaign are on @just4pal and @actionstationnz, everyone can contribute to the movement - calling and emailing in, joining local actions, signing the petition, and getting creative with spreading the message. Brick by brick, wall by wall, let this occupation fall! On Tue 5 Nov, we remember Te rā o te pāhua - the day that the Māori settlement of Parihaka was invaded in 1881. Taranaki iwi and tāngata across the motu had gathered together living in Parihaka to peacefully protest the mass illegal confiscation of whenua Māori. Hundreds were taken and imprisoned without charge. The settlement was invaded and torn apart by colonial troops in one of the worst infringements of civil and human rights ever committed and witnessed in Aotearoa. We are hosting our rally on Tue 5 as we know these painful living histories and ongoing acts of colonisation are not separate. The welfare of people in Aotearoa and Palestine are deeply intertwined. We come together today with love for Indigenous people and in the spirit of peace and protest to demand ASB bank divest peoples funds from apartheid. Land back. No more genocide.
