The weekly rallies across the country have been such an important way to show our leaders how much we care about Palestine, to remind them week to week that we are not going to back down until we see justice. Thank you Nipaluna, for rallying consistently every week with us for nearly 17 months! This community is truly incredible, thank you But don’t worry, this community that we’ve built isn’t going anywhere, we just feel like its time to shake things up a bit and try something new. Which is why we’ve decided to change our rallies to fortnightly. We think this change will give us the space, energy and time to put into different kinds of actions and keep the fight for Palestine going strong. This isn’t a roll back in action or advocacy, but rather a way to continue our efforts in other meaningful ways — and be a sustainable movement that is able to keep going for as long as we need to, because this is a marathon not a sprint. Because despite the “ceasefire” (which Israel continues to violate almost daily) the fight is not over. We will continue, in one way or another, until Palestinians and all occupied people are liberated. So please continue to come to the rallies, and keep an eye out for announcements about other actions and events! Like our series with @taclutruwita Sharing Histories.
