All this in the frightening context of the far right on the offensive globally, and Peter Dutton waiting in the wings to try to turn Australia into Trump's America. Trying to crush dissent, dehumanising and demonising Palestinians, Arabs, Muslims and anyone who defends basic human rights is the inevitable corollary of supporting a fascist regime which has waged a genocidal war in Gaza for over 16 months. We need to hit the streets on Sunday 2 March to oppose Trump and Netanyahu's plan to ethnically cleanse Gaza, to demand our own governments stop arming this genocidal regime, and to show that we will NOT be cowed into silence by the hypocrites and war-mongers who run Australian politics and media.
