Starvation is their weapon, and agriculture is our resistance. Palestinian farmers have always been on the frontlines of resistance and continue to defy settler encroachment. This Ramadan, we gather together in an intimate iftaar to show our collective commitment to the Palestinian people. Community members who want to learn more about how to support the solidarity movement and the Palestinian people are particularly encouraged to attend. We honor the sumoud of our people and uphold our political duty to contribute towards rebuilding Gaza. This will be an intentional space of reflection, education, and action. FRONT Lown OF THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF BC Lekwungen Territory (Victoria) https://maps.app.goo.gl/GGVBTSiT2SjFY8Hh7 8 March #Repost @victoria_to_palestine Please join us this Saturday, March 8th at 1pm on the front lawn of the legislative assembly for our 74th week of standing in solidarity with Palestine and Palestinians in their fight for liberation. While the zionist regime continues to block the entry of aid into Gaza, Palestinians are being starved to death. Despite these repeated ceasefire violations and in the face of increasing uncertainty, Palestinians remain steadfast as they observe Ramadan. As Mamdouh A’rab Abu Oday shared from Rafah, he will not leave Gaza. “Despite what happens to us, we are united and together,” he said. “We tell the entire world that we are together and we will not leave our country.” As we gather again this week, we will continue to strategize and discuss how to effectively mobilize our community in light of an inevitable federal election, and how we can best leverage our skills in support of a Free Palestine.
