Though 4 of the hunger strikers (Qesser, Amu, Umer, Jon) have either paused or stopped their hunger strikes, Heba, T, Kamran, and Lewie’s strikes are still ongoing. All 8 still need our support, whether that be by fulfilling the 5 demands, or by pressing our government to dispense the correct medical care for those who have stopped, so we must continue to fight for them. The Palestinians are still suffering immensely in both Gaza and the West Bank as well, with the IDF continuing to maim Palestinians in Gaza as they please, and the Israeli state supporting West Bank settlement by violent Israeli settlers. We cannot forget the Palestinians during these winter months, as their tents have been destroyed by torrential flooding, and their babies have died from the cold. The suppression of the Palestinian cause is paramount, and we cannot bend under the pressure. So, make sure you attend this Saturday, as well as in the new year, because we cannot stop until Palestine, and our political prisoners, are free.
