For the past two months Israel has used starvation as a weapon of genocide against our people in Gaza, under the reality of almost two years of relentless bombings, displacement, and all of occupation’s tools of ethnic cleansing. It is our duty to rise up for Palestine and do everything that we can to be take action in solidarity with the brave Palestinian people. We’ll be screening ‘Jenin, Jenin’, a documentary that records the testimonies of Palestinians from the Jenin refugee camp who experienced the zionist entity’s horrific invasion and massacre in April 2002, during the second intifada. They tell the stories of witnessing murder, of homes demolished, and of the physical and emotional wounds which lingered. Its director, Muhammad Bakri, faced death threats and censorship; its producer was murdered by Israeli forces. Yet the film lives on as a testament to resistance — the very spirit we are called to carry today. Jenin has always been a stronghold of Palestinian resistance, and today it stands at the heart of occupation’s expanding terrorism on the West Bank. For nearly four months, Jenin has been under brutal siege, facing intensified raids, and drone strikes, including a ground invasion. Across the northern West Bank, over 44,000 Palestinians have been displaced as Israel escalates its campaign of collective punishment. With mentioning that around 1000 Palestinians have been killed by the zionist entity in the West Bank alone, the highest death toll in two decades. So join us in listening to these testimonies this Tuesday and then we will be having a few points to expand on and then discussion with q&a, bring your revolutionary friends; the Palestinian narrative and experience of the realities of this murderous occupation must be heard, as it is our duty to bear witness, amplify these Palestinian testimonies through solidarity and action.
