Trotz Völkermord in Palästina und andauernder Angriffe auf sieben Länder in Westasien darf Israel dort teilnehmen. Wir werden keinen ESC mit Israel in Österreich tolerieren! Der ORF trägt seit 2,5 Jahren dazu bei, den Völkermord an den Palästinenser*innen und weitere Kriege in der Region zu rechtfertigen. Durch die Ausstrahlung des ESC gibt er dem Terrorstaat Israel die größtmögliche Bühne, seine Verbrechen gegen die Menschlichkeit zu normalisieren und sich als friedliches und kulturell vielfältiges Land zu präsentieren. Die Doppelmoral, dass Russland sofort ausgeschlossen wurde, aber Israel weiter und mit so viel Zuspruch teilnimmt, zeigt uns ganz deutlich, dass es hier nicht um Musik sondern um gemeinsame Politik und Geschäfte geht. Der österreichische Staat kürzt Sozialleistungen für seine Bewohner*innen, während er Millionen für eine Propagandaveranstaltung von Völkermördern und deren Verbündeten ausgibt. Die Preise für Wohnen, Essen, Tanken, ... schießen seit Jahren in die Höhe, unsere Löhne aber nicht. Wir können uns immer weniger leisten, während die Reichen die Kriegsindustrie anfeuern und ganze Länder zerbomben und ausbeuten, um daran zu verdienen. Mit der Austragung des ESC und der Teilnahme Israels leistet der ORF einen großen Beitrag zur Legitimierung von Völkermord und westlicher Kriege. Das widerspricht den Pflichten eines staatlichen Senders im Sinne der Neutralität. Lasst uns ihnen zeigen, dass wir nicht stumm zusehen, wenn sie unser Steuergeld dafür verwenden, Völkermördern eine Bühne zu bieten, anstatt unser Leben leistbarer zu machen! • Wir fordern den ORF auf, den ESC nicht auszutragen! • Wir fordern den ORF auf, objektiv und wahrheitsgetreu über den Völkermord in Palästina zu berichten! • Schluss mit der rassistischen Hetze gegen Muslim*innen und Migrant*innen! • Schluss mit Kriegshetze!
