Tell all your friends & their friends because we’re coming back in April. Run by @khshmht_ & @aatishaaa _ , “Barely A Book Club” aims to facilitate our learning & deepen our understanding of the social issues around us, the ways in which they’re all interconnected and why collective liberation is the only answer. In the upcoming book club, we’ll be doing things a little differently by diving into a casual conversation about “A Small Place” by Jamaica Kincaid. Since this will be more of a discussion than a workshop, familiarity with the text is required. You can find a link to the full text in the bio. Masks are encouraged ! As always, bringing food is optional but encouraged - bring some snacks to share with everyone! Whether you’ve been a long-time comrade, or you’re new to the movement (especially if you’re new to the movement!) all are welcome. This evening is an opportunity for you to get informed, take steps towards helping in the ways that we can, ask questions, engage in discussion, and also find some warmth and solace in community.
