The provincial government of BC removed American products from BCLiquor Store shelves in 2025 when Trump announced tariffs on Canada, and removed Russian products when Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022. So why, after 2+ years of genocide in Palestine, are Israeli wines still being sold at BCLiquor Stores? We will be holding an info-picket to talk to the public about the Ban Israeli Wines campaign. While we do not advocate for a full boycott of BCLiquor Stores, we do encourage consumers to boycott Israeli wine, to spread awareness about the campaign, and to send an email, a letter or to call Premier David Eby to urge him to pull Israeli wines from the shelves of BCLiquor Stores. This will be a peaceful demonstration where Labour for Palestine members and community activists will engage the public in friendly conversation about the Ban Israeli Wines Campaign, Israel’s ongoing genocide, and what we can do to help stop it. Anan Yaeesh, Ahmad Salem, Mohamed Hannoun, Mohamed Shahin, Tarek Dridi e molte altre persone sono oggi colpite dal braccio repressivo dello Stato per aver dato supporto e solidarietà alla resistenza del popolo palestinese e aver preso parola contro il genocidio del nostro popolo. Questa repressione non riguarda solo loro ma tutte e tutti noi, perché mette in discussione il diritto stesso di dissentire, di organizzarsi, di lottare.
