Secondo la stessa legge francese Georges potrebbe essere libero dal 1999. La persecuzione politica e giuridica di Georges Abdallah da parte dello Stato francese e dei suoi complici - Stati Uniti e regime sionista - è motivata dal desiderio di vendetta nei confronti di un militante che non ha mai tradito il suo impegno rivoluzionario nonostante i 40 anni di carcere. Poiché rappresenta ancora oggi una figura viva della resistenza, lo Stato francese e i suoi complici cercano di spezzare ciò che incarna: un rifiuto categorico di sottomettersi all'ordine coloniale e imperialista. La sua detenzione si inserisce in una strategia imperialista di partecipazione attiva al genocidio e alla colonizzazione in Palestina e alla criminalizzazione delle resistenze nel mondo.
