Inklusive ett lagförslag om dödsstraff som skulle tillämpas specifikt på palestinier, vilket fördömts av FN:s människorättschef som diskriminerande och i strid med internationell rätt. Detta är inte säkerhetspolitik, utan ett försök att juridiskt och politiskt rättfärdiga systematiskt våld. Att kräva frigivning av palestinska fångar är därför en fråga om rättvisa och mänskliga rättigheter, men också ett nödvändigt steg mot självbestämmande och en verklig politisk lösning. Utan ett slut på ockupationen och det repressiva fängelsesystemet kan ingen rättvis och hållbar fred uppnås.
