Minst 97 palestinere er drept av Israel i Gaza siden våpenhvilen trådte i kraft, inkludert barn og hele familier. På Vestbredden angripes palestinere daglig av den israelske okkupasjonsmakten. Våpenhvile er ikke en varig løsning – og Trumps såkalte fredsplan har mange problematiske aspekter. Den israelske okkupasjonen fortsetter, den kolonialistiske tankegangen videreføres og lidelsene for det palestinske folket er langt fra over. Por que o boicote acadêmico deve ser levado a cabo? Essa instituição israelense é parte do estrutura colonial e racista do estado de israel. Assim como todas as universidades sionistas, desempenha papel fundamental no planejamento, implementação e justificativa das políticas de ocupação, colonização, limpeza étnica e apartheid por parte do estado de israel, mantendo uma relação intrínseca com as forças de ocupação sionistas. Na Palestina ocupada ocorre um escolasticídio, repressão e racismo contra estudantes palestinos. É inaceitável que a USP mantenha convênios com universidades que sustentam esses crimes contra a humanidade.
