His poem “ग़ुलामी की अंतिम हदों तक लड़ेंगे”, and every one of his poems, spoke for every oppressed class. When he wrote “कि इस हक़ की लड़ाई में तुम किस तरफ़ हो” in his poem “Gulami”, he was asking his readers and the working class: Which side are you on in this fight for rights? His poems remain powerful examples of what transnational solidarity truly looks like.
