We will support Saturday’s ride for Gaza and Lebanon in solidarity with the Gaza Sunbirds and MECA in collaboration with East Bay bike enthusiasts. The ride is also a fundraiser for the Gaza Sunbirds and MECA (links in bio / we will have QR’s at the ride). …… The Gaza Sunbirds are a para-cycling team, consisting of 20 athletes, based in the Gaza Strip. The team was founded in 2018 when Alaa al-Dali, an Olympic hopeful cyclist, was shot in the leg by an Israeli sniper. They are currently distributing emergency aid. Middle East Children’s Alliance (MECA), has been providing emergency medical supplies and relief services to clinics and families in and around Gaza since 1988. Please consider supporting them via link in our bio - this will only happen through community action and mutual aid. Thank you to @native_women_ride for organizing this effort. In the spirit of this ride, we feel that it is important to acknowledge that we ride on stolen land. Oakland, CA occupied the ancestral lands of the Ohlone territory, and specifically Huichin peoples. Visit nativeland.org for more ways to get involved. Land back!

JOIN US AS WE CONFRONT THE WHITE SUPREMACIST, SETTLER- COLONIAL PROJECT! This Stolen Land sale, illegal under international, national, state and local laws, is intentionally being held by “My Home in Israel” in the Kingsway Jewish Center, to exclude everyone except for the most zionist and orthodox Jews from participation, to further expand the zionist entity’s attempt to take over all of Palestine. STOP LAND THEFT! OUST THE SETTLERS! FIGHT ANNEXATION! As the US continues to collude and provide the weapons and political cover for the ongoing indiscriminate assaults on Pa|estine, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, Iraq and Iran — zionist settlers are using this time to advance their settler-colonial agenda. This expansion is facilitated by zionists from all over the world, including most prominently in the US, through real estate events where Stolen Land is sold and discounted mortgages are provided by “isr@eli” banks, supported by the zionist entity’s government. #Repost @libertacaopalestina Evento em Inglês Next Tuesday, 19/11 8.00pm Cooperativa do Povo Portuense (Rua do Paraíso 213, Porto) Event in English Our comrade Sami Hourani will be joining us for a talk on the growing settler-colonial violence and ongoing popular resistance taking place in the West Bank post-October 7th. Since 7th October, settler colonial violence has escalated exponentially. The ongoing Palestinian popular resistance in the villages of the South Hebron Hills has not ceased to resist. Local activists are defending the land against military take over in a number of ways: • by accompanying shepherds daily to prevent settler attacks; • by planting and replanting trees and agricultural crops after they are burned/destroyed; • by taking children to school and shielding them from ambushes; • rebuilding houses, schools and animal shelters; • fundraising for families to be able to stay on their lands, and so much more. The activist Rita AlSalaq, Historian Manuel Loff (FLUP-IHC), and independent journalist Ana Patrícia Silva, will also be taking part in this discussion. Solidarity-based donations to support the Palestinian Youth resisting in Masafer Yatta are welcome. See you there! If you can't make it, you can still support the Palestinian popular resistance via the link in our bio
