Follow @mt4palestine for updates and please donate to @afnan.rayyan0 and her family whether you’re attending or not! So often, antisemitism is either presented as a primordial hatred that can never be overcome or as a list of simple tropes to memorize and avoid. A surface-level understanding of antisemitism doesn’t just fail to protect Jews. It allows the very concept to be wielded as a weapon against anyone who dares oppose the status quo. In collaboration with Montanans for Palestine, the Montana Jewish Labor Bund/Montana Jewish Voice for Peace present the evoluton of antisemitism in its historial and political context. In doing so, we hope to give our fellow Montanans a more holistic understanding of what antisemitism is, what it isn’t, and how it impacts everyone—Jewish or not.
