De Gaza a Cuba sigue la historia de Murid Abukhater, un estudiante de medicina palestino de Gaza, que estudia en la Escuela Latinoamericana de Medicina (ELAM) en Cuba. Mientras su familia en Gaza sufre los bombardeos constantes de Israel, Murid se enfoca en su sueño de regresar a su hogar como médico para salvar vidas en una tierra devastada por la guerra genocida. Este documental ilumina las complejas realidades que enfrentan palestinos como Murid, al mismo tiempo que destaca el papel crucial de Cuba en la formación de médicos palestinos.
