The leaders of the anti-apartheid struggle were imprisoned, killed or in exile, and the liberation organisation ANC was outlawed. London Recruits tells the true story of activists recruited by the ANC from London to carry out secret missions in South Africa to reinvigorate the liberation struggle. Not all made it back. After the movie, there is Q&A with the filmmakers via Zoom, and a panel discussion about the relation of Israeli and South African apartheid. Discussions are in English. Chaired by Syksy Räsänen (vice-chair of Sumud), the panelists are: Ata Darwish is professor of education from Al-Azhar University in Gaza, now at the faculty of education at the University of Helsinki.
