Fuori la guerra dall’istruzione e dalla ricerca! Negli ultimi anni si è assistito ad un vero e proprio processo di militarizzazione dei luoghi del sapere, sia sul fronte dell’istruzione sia nella ricerca. Scuole e Università sono state sottoposte ad una crescente invasione da parte della filiera militare industriale e del suo dispiegamento ideologico, che agisce per promuovere la “cultura della difesa” normalizzando la presenza della guerra nella società soprattutto verso i più giovani, e/o in vista del reclutamento degli stessi, oltre che per subordinare formazione e ricerca agli interessi delle imprese. Di recente, il documento per l’attuazione di REARM EUROPE individua nell’istruzione scolastica e universitaria un settore strategico per il processo di militarizzazione, già in atto da qualche anno ad opera delle istituzioni governative e militari del nostro Paese, ma anche di organizzazioni internazionali come la NATO e delle grandi multinazionali dell’industria bellica, come ad esempio Leonardo SpA, che entra nel mondo dell’istruzione anche attraverso le sue fondazioni: in particolare la Fondazione Med-Or, la quale annovera nel suo Comitato Scientifico non solo docenti universitari, ma anche Rettori di alcuni Atenei statali (erano 13 e ad oggi ne risultano 9). Le modalità con cui questo processo si dispiega in Italia riporta al modello di militarizzazione della società israeliana, dove sin dai primi gradi dell’istruzione, i bambini vengono immersi nella retorica e nella propaganda militarista e dove la militarizzazione è presente in tutti i gangli della società. È per tale motivo che si può parlare di “israelizzazione” della società anche nel nostro Paese: un processo di occupazione e colonizzazione cognitiva, ma anche fisica, dei luoghi e degli spazi del sapere, dell’istruzione e della ricerca.
