It explores themes of loss, trauma, and the quest for justice. We follow, among others, Palestinian journalist and therapist Ashira Darwish, grassroots activist Ahed Tamimi, and Israeli journalist Amira Hass. After the film we dive in to the question of normalization, a concept that describes how the zionist state is normalized both through economic and diplomatic ties with other countries, but also through cultural productions such as documentaries. Dalia Kababo and Sami Huraini (online from Massafer Yatta) will be in conversation about how the movie to some extent can be seen to inscribe itself into such forms of normalization. The talk will also touch upon some of the themes presented in the movie from the perspectives of two palestinians, one living in Denmark and one living in Palestine.
