Dodici attivisti disarmati sono stati sequestrati, la nave requisita, gli aiuti umanitari bloccati. L’attacco, preceduto dall’uso di sostanze urticanti contro l’equipaggio, è un’azione militare illegale contro una missione pacifica. Il governo israeliano ha rivendicato pubblicamente l’intenzione di fermare la flottiglia “con ogni mezzo”, ammettendo di fatto un’operazione pianificata al di fuori del diritto internazionale. È un vero atto di pirateria di Stato. La Madleen rappresentava un gesto concreto di solidarietà verso Gaza e una sfida diretta all’assedio imposto. A bordo c’erano dodici persone che hanno messo in gioco la propria libertà per rompere questo silenzio complice: tra loro Greta Thunberg, Rima Hassan e Omar Faiad, insieme ad attivisti internazionali che si oppongono all’apartheid e alla colonizzazione. Mentre l’Unione Europea resta inerte e continua a collaborare con Israele, chiediamo: • Il rilascio immediato dei sequestrati • La restituzione della nave e degli aiuti • La fine dell’assedio a Gaza • Lo stop agli accordi tra Italia, UE e Israele DOMANI ALLE 18.00 saremo sotto la Commissione del Parlamento Europeo. E stavolta vogliamo vedere in piazza anche chi ha organizzato la mobilitazione del 7 giugno. Perché la Palestina non ha bisogno di slogan da palco, ma di presenza continua, coraggiosa, senza ambiguità. La solidarietà vera non si fa una volta sola, si costruisce ogni giorno.
